Sub: Draft Best Practice manuals to complement draft Codes on Assessing Utility Equipment Performance under Mandatory Energy Audit under Energy Conservation Act – Request for comments and urgent action

Dear Friends,

We are pleased to inform that the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA), in association with Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) had retained the services of M/s. Devki Energy Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., Vadodara to prepare Draft Codes and Best Practice manuals. Draft Best Practices manuals of the following equipment are given in the link.

Best practices manual would complement these Codes in assessing the energy efficiency performance of the above equipment at site and providing recommendations for improving performance.

2. In view of the above, we would request that thorough examination should be made by the Energy Auditors and Energy Managers of the above Best Practices manuals so that comprehensive energy saving measures are suggested.

3. Further, we would like to inform that under each of above 7 Draft Best Practices manuals, the best five observation/ improvements for each Code will be awarded Rs. 3,000/- each for the efforts made. (Total 35 best observations / suggestions will be selected.)
