Scheme to encourage Energy Conservation
The Honourable President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, during his Address delivered
on the ‘ National Energy Conservation Day ’, 14th December 2005 has
advised the following:-
i) Companies may introduce appropriate
incentive systems to encourage the employees to conserve
energy;
ii) Creating an idea bank in which employees can provide innovative solutions
for energy efficiency operations. There must be a system of analysis of ideas
for implementing practical ideas on the shop floor and suitable reward.
