"Give teeth will bite", says it all. This corner is not for the faint hearted, or those who cannot stand criticism. Energy   efficiency of a society, or even better the inefficiency has nothing to do with technologies or an industrial process.   Human beings, or more precise, decision makers, energy managers, energy auditors and purchasing   departments create inefficiency. Poorly designed boilers, lousy fans, hilariously badly manufactured transformers,   highly inefficient manufacturing process, have only found a market in India because there is still some profit   made. Of course even more profit could be made if such equipment is not bought, or replaced by energy efficient   equipment. The new energy conservation law is therefore an Act to force energy intensive business to make more   profit and drive inefficient equipment off the market.
